On the other side of this coin, choosing a niche and being good at it can get you to success, fast. I went from earning $0 as a writer two years ago to billing $100,000 this year, mainly because I focused on niches that might be “boring” to others, and was confident enough to ask for the right amount of money.

I enjoy my niches enough to spend 3–4 hours a day writing about them, and apparently my clients like that too.
