I’ve always believed that “life looks after those that live it” and I think it’s for a simple reason — the way that we express ourselves creates the filter through which we see life, and that means we can follow the opportunities that come through that filter. As we express love, so we create an environment where that can flourish, and we notice when it is returned.

Being kind, gentle, and loving costs nothing, and yet it creates such enrichment and joy. If we approach others without expectation, but just want to enjoy a shared experience or a smile, we magnify ourselves and everyone around us.

That then creates a reputation of beauty — a way of seeing the world in a slightly better, slightly brighter way. And that’s got to be a good thing.
