I have seen a lot of posts on Medium lately saying that “people will never be successful” and my question is always the same — in whose eyes? What yardstick are they being measured against? Success isn’t something you do or do not have, it’s something that you are.

Success is about how you live your life, where you find fulfillment, your sense of adventure and wanting to grow. It’s not about how much you have in the bank, your number of Instagram followers, or some other sort of ego trip. It’s in the quiet moments, when you feel satisfied and at peace. Success means knowing when to strive, knowing when to rest, and appreciating every moment of the journey.
